Phoenix Trip

Reaching the Nations in Our Own Backyard

Since 1980, Arizona has resettled over 75,000 refugees from countries who have never had access to the Gospel. Many of these refugees from unreached people groups are living in Phoenix, surrounded by Americans, and have still never had a chance to hear the Good News.

GoTEN's Phoenix Training Center is located right in the heart of neighborhoods that are full of refugees from Myanmar, Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria, Somalia, and many other countries.

Come join us for a week of exploring how God is at work among refugee communities in Phoenix and join in being His hands and feet through teaching English, serving children and families, and creating connections with refugee friends who are eager to share their lives with others.

On this trip we will:

  • learn cross-cultural skills and enter into diverse communities and homes
  • meet and engage with refugees in both the GoTEN Training Center and their own homes and share stories of Jesus as appropriate
  • encourage and work alongside local missionaries and discover opportunities for how you can fit into the work that God is already up to among refugee communities beyond just your week in Phoenix

We will be staying close to the Training Center in order to live and work in community together for the duration of the trip.

The cost of this trip is $900 (housing and meals included, airfare not included). To register for the trip, a $100 deposit is required.
