On Monday, October 10th, GoTEN had the opportunity to set up a booth at Grand Canyon University for its annual Missions Fair. Hopefully, this event will be a step in establishing a strong presence on campus at GCU, as well as other universities, as GoTEN continues to invite college students in the U.S. into work among the nations. GoTEN staff members had the opportunity on Monday to share with students about international trips happening in 2023, as well as local opportunities to serve refugees in Phoenix, where GCU is located. As connections with students were made, Braden asked some of the students to participate in a video survey, trying to gauge student awareness of refugee resettlement in Arizona as well as awareness of the opportunities that exist just blocks away from the university.
