Refugees are a bridge
Refugees from unreached nations provide unique relational access to people historically difficult to reach.
Vision 2030
GoTEN is preparing to launch local training centers in three additional U.S. cities before 2030—mobilizing believers, serving unreached peoples, and creating long-term pathways for disciple-making.
Orange County is our next launch location. We are continuing to pray, research, gather partners, and seek wisdom for the cities that will follow.
The moment before us
Three realities from GoTEN’s 2026–2030 strategic planning point toward a reproducible opportunity.
Refugees from unreached nations provide unique relational access to people historically difficult to reach.
More than a decade in Phoenix has produced a model that can be adapted and reproduced in other cities.
Churches, Christian universities, and refugee communities are forming a growing pipeline of future workers.
Strategic priorities
Expansion is more than opening a location. It requires healthy pathways for people, preparation, care, and long-term funding.
Partner with churches, universities, mission organizations, and sending agencies to identify, inspire, prepare, and launch volunteers, interns, and long-term workers.
Combine on-site experience and online modules in a three-to-six-month process of cross-cultural preparation, spiritual formation, coaching, and practical skill development.
Build mentoring, coaching, pastoral care, and field support into each city so local and global workers can thrive spiritually, emotionally, and relationally.
Work with churches, donors, and statewide networks to develop a collaborative three-year launch model for each new city.
U.S. expansion
Orange County is moving toward launch while Virginia Beach and Chicago remain research locations. Each city reflects careful study of immigrant populations, university relationships, aligned churches, and ministry partnerships.
