John 5:17 - "My Father is always at His work to this very day, and I too am working."

Join Missio PHX's youth group as we partner with GoTEN and journey to love, serve, and share amongst a diverse multi-cultural community in South Asia.

Come learn, pray, and see how God is at work to this very day, moving unreached and oppressed into areas where there is a greater chance for them to hear the Good News. When we are willing to stop, turn, and enter into the spaces where God is at work, we learn better what He is doing, how to join Him in prayer, and how to join Him in action.

On this trip, we will visit homes of refugees looking for opportunities to share as the Spirit leads. We will also serve in an English club and explore the different peoples & religions of Asia. We will work alongside local believers and ask how we can continue to bless work overseas long after we return home.

The cost of the trip is $3000 (including airfare).
Once accepted, a $100 deposit is required to hold your spot.

Join GoTEN for a unique trip focused on presence, friendship, and making initial connections in a sensitive part of the world.

This is not a traditional evangelism or outreach trip. Participants will enter as tourists and connect naturally with people through everyday activities such as excursions, parks, crafts, food, recreation, and sports. Our goal is to listen, learn, build trust, and create opportunities for relationships that long-term workers can continue developing after the team returns home.

The team will also spend intentional time with long-term workers who often serve in isolated and challenging circumstances. Your presence will provide encouragement, connection, prayer, and Christian community—reminding these workers that they are known, supported, and not alone.

This trip is a good fit for people who are:

- Flexible and comfortable with changing plans
- Adventurous and willing to try unfamiliar things
- Natural encouragers and relationship-builders
- Equipped with a pioneering spirit
- Thoughtful photographers who can follow security and privacy guidelines
- Willing to serve quietly without needing immediate or visible results

Participants should be prepared for warm weather, considerable walking, excursions, and a moderate level of physical exertion. Cultural sensitivity, discretion, patience, and the ability to follow team leadership are essential.

Because of the sensitive nature of this opportunity, the specific location and additional details will be shared with qualified applicants during the application process.

Join GoTEN for a relationship-centered trip serving refugee families alongside a trusted local partner in the Middle East.

Our partner has established a community center that provides compassionate, long-term support through a clinic, school, and local church. Rather than creating a separate program, our team will come alongside the work already taking place—following the leadership of people who understand the community, culture, and needs.

During the trip, team members may:
- Visit refugee families in their homes
- Assist with educational activities and support local teachers
- Serve alongside qualified medical professionals in the clinic
- Spend time listening to, encouraging, and building relationships with families
- Support the local staff, ministry leaders, and long-term workers who serve daily
- Provide Christian encouragement, connection, and community to those carrying the work forward

We are especially looking for teachers, nurses, doctors, and other qualified professionals who can contribute within their areas of experience. We also need relational servants—people who are willing to listen, learn, encourage, play with children, share meals, and serve wherever needed.

This trip is a good fit for people who are:
- Flexible, humble, and culturally sensitive
- Comfortable entering homes and building relationships across cultures
- Willing to follow the direction of local leaders
- Ready to serve without needing to be at the center
- Able to listen well and offer genuine encouragement
- Prepared for changing schedules and unfamiliar environments

Our goal is not simply to meet immediate needs. It is to strengthen relationships, support sustainable local ministry, and encourage the people who faithfully serve refugee families throughout the year.
