GoTEN has so many faithful, cheerful supporters who work in unison to help provide for the organization in its work among unreached people groups. We want to thank Jan and Chuy Martinez for coordinating a fundraising campaign with the Circle of Peace Church congregation. Circle of Peace Church was recently a shining example of generosity as they provided needed items to help the GoTEN sewing program. Donations, including fabric, buttons, needles, yarn, thread, scissors, measuring tape, other sewing items, and cash donations, directly support refugees in Phoenix. Shop Refugee is a transformative initiative aimed at equipping beginners and advanced refugee women with vital sewing skills that not only impart technical knowledge but also provide them with a means to generate sustainable income, preparing them for sewing jobs in the wider community. The handcrafted products made by refugee women in this program find their way to local markets, bookstores, and coffee shops, and are also available online at shoprefugee.com.
