How the funds will be used.
This year, I have the opportunity to travel with a small team to "the Islands", a nation where very few people have ever had access to the Gospel.
Our team will travel to at least three different islands, spending time with local people, learning their culture, building genuine friendships, and looking for opportunities to encourage and serve those we meet. In a place like this, ministry often begins simply—with presence, hospitality, conversation, and relationships.
What makes this opportunity especially meaningful to me is that we are going to a place considered "unreached"—where the number of known followers of Jesus is incredibly small and opportunities to hear the Gospel are limited. We aren't going with a big program or event. We are going to be present, build relationships, listen well, and prayerfully look for the people and opportunities God places in front of us.
The funds raised for this trip will help cover my airfare, lodging, transportation between the islands, and ministry expenses while we are there.
