About this role
The position is intentionally divided into two primary areas of focus:
1. Ministry Leadership Development (approximately 50%) – learning, assisting, and progressively implementing the responsibilities of the English Ministry Director.
2. Relational Ministry Engagement (approximately 50%) – building relationships with students and families through presence, home visits, storytelling, and discipleship.
The English Ministry Assistant Director will be trained using a Model, Assist, Watch, Leave approach and will, in turn, use this same framework to equip volunteers (Encouragers) to engage in relational ministry with students beyond the classroom.
