Connecting with Local Leaders

2/22/2023

Leadership within the local church is absolutely crucial to not only a healthy church, but also the mobilization of that church congregation into its community. Most people claim public speaking as their number one fear, and although meeting your neighbor isn't quite the same as speaking in front of a large group of people, we still live in a society drifting further away from being able to meet new people with ease. People need, and want in most cases, to be commissioned; to be pushed. This is one of the many jobs of a leader.

GoTEN recently hosted a church leader luncheon at its training center in Central Phoenix. With the goal of learning about ways that GoTEN can help mobilize their church into being God's hands and feet in their local community, 21 church leaders gathered for lunch along with our leadership and some of our ministry team members. The conversations had were productive, and several churches will take steps toward engaging the unreached community in Phoenix this year.

An additional luncheon is already on the calendar for April 20. If you are a church leader interested in participating, sign up today. If you are not a church leader but feel your church could benefit from this connection, we ask that you pass this along to your church leadership.
