Three Ways to Pray: Rohingya People

5/4/2023

As Christians, we are called to love and care for all people, no matter where they come from or what their background is. One group of people who are in need of our prayers and support are the Rohingya people of Myanmar. These individuals have faced persecution and violence for years, and it is our duty to pray for them and ask for God's protection and mercy. Here are three important things we can pray for:

  1. Protection and Safety

The Rohingya people have faced violence, persecution, and displacement for many years, and their safety and security are always at risk. As Christians, we can pray for their protection and ask God to keep them safe from harm. We can ask for His divine intervention to prevent any further violence and for the creation of safe spaces where they can live without fear.

  1. Healing and Restoration

The Rohingya people have suffered unspeakable trauma and loss. Many have lost loved ones, homes, and their sense of security. As Christians, we can pray for their healing and restoration. We can ask God to bring comfort to those who are grieving, to provide for those who have lost everything, and to restore hope to those who have been traumatized.

  1. Justice and Peace

The Rohingya people have faced injustice and discrimination for many years. As Christians, we can pray for justice and peace for this group of people. We can ask God to intervene and bring an end to the violence and persecution. We can pray for leaders and organizations to work towards peace and reconciliation, and for the international community to support their efforts.

The Rohingya people of Myanmar are in need of our prayers and support. As Christians, we can pray for their protection, healing, and restoration, as well as for justice and peace to prevail. Let us lift them up in prayer, and trust that God will hear our cries and answer them in His perfect timing.
